Since 2026 the city has been on automated cart collection, and you can't use your own barrels — city carts only, billed annually by size. Bulk items and white goods are scheduled directly with the hauler, and anything containing Freon won't be collected at all until a licensed handler removes it first.

Curbside also won't take construction waste or demolition debris, tires, fluorescent bulbs, TVs, computers, propane tanks, oil paints, lithium-ion batteries, motor oil or chemicals.
