Dumpster rental and junk removal in Middleton — garage and barn clearouts, estate cleanouts, renovation debris, and full-property cleanouts.
Middleton is inland and wooded — no coastline, the Ipswich River running through, and Middleton Pond and Andover Meadow Pond sitting among state forest land on two sides. Route 114, the old Essex Turnpike, carries a commercial strip through the middle as South Main Street; Route 62 crosses it. Everything off those two roads is quiet, and mostly detached houses on generous lots.
Whether you're clearing a garage off Route 62, gutting a kitchen near the center, or emptying a barn out by the Ipswich River past Richardson's on South Main, Dumpster Dogs is the crew Middleton calls.
Local crew, small operation, and we'd rather be recommended than advertised.
Middleton's transfer station on Natsue Way is open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, and the sticker is the steepest around: $195 for the first vehicle, another $50 for each additional car, or $45 for recycling only. It's issued only to vehicles registered in Middleton, valid only for that vehicle, and it has to be permanently attached — no tape, no lamination.
Then the per-item fees on top: $50 per bulk item, $50 per electronic item, and $60 per mattress or box spring, with the sticker bought in advance and affixed to the item. Carpet capped at ten rolls. Tires limited to two a month. Freon appliances not accepted unless a certified vendor evacuated them first.
And construction and demolition waste is not accepted, along with stumps, boulders, rocks, dirt and other non-combustible material. The attendant can also turn away a load that looks too big to have come from one house.
$195 to get in, $60 for one mattress, and a renovation can't go there at any price.
This is easy, comfortable roll-off work and we like it here. Middleton is mostly detached houses on generous lots — wide driveways, real frontage, room to place a container and turn a truck around. The subdivisions off Routes 114 and 62 are the roomiest.
Two things to plan for. The older center near South Main and Maple is tighter. And the wooded lanes near the Ipswich River and the state forest are narrow with overhanging limbs — a truck height question rather than a width one.
Flatly not accepted at the transfer station, sticker or no sticker. Remodel debris, flooring ripped out, roofing, decking, sheds and small structures — one container, parked in your own driveway.
Middleton has a lot of long-held family homes, and the garages, sheds and barns that fill up alongside them. Full estate cleanouts, garage and barn clearouts, attic and basement work, downsizing moves.
The sticker alone costs more than most towns charge for a whole cleanout. We're the alternative.
No. Construction and demolition waste is not accepted, along with stumps, rocks, dirt and other non-combustible material.
$60 per mattress or box spring, with a sticker bought in advance — on top of the $195 annual transfer station sticker.
Most properties take a large roll-off comfortably. Watch for low branches on the wooded lanes near the river and state forest.
